Default Oh No Tire Sensors!! Help!!!

I have 20 inch staggered Lowenharts on my 06 GS430 today the red exclamation point came on and so did tire pressure light (it started blinking) the odom says check system or somthing like that. Now I drove 2,000 miles (amount on car) and never saw this light come on. Did I get lucky? The stock rims are in the garage and they have the sensors in them. I was told they would not fit in the 20 inch Lowenharts. Why did it come on now? Can it be reset and go away? What can I do? Am I stuck with it on? If so so be it but would love some advice from all you experts. i just don't understand why now it came on everything was ok.

Please help

I had all of these lights go on. When it says check system, it means that the car cannot detect the tire sensors. In my case, it was because I had accidently triggered the switch that toggles between two sets of tires (switch is in the front passenger foot well on the bottom of the dash on the left. In your case, it seems it took a while for the system to realize that you don't have sensors on your wheels.

I have a 20" Vellano VSB on my 06 GS300. I was told that the tire sensor won't fit the new wheels. I told my friend (shop owner) that sold the wheels to me to make an adapter for it and just have the sensor sit inside the wheel. He got some flat metal with some holes from Auto Zone. He cut, bend, and attached one end to the new valve and the other end to the tire sensor and he used double sided and duct tape to make sure it will stay in one place. I don't have any problem with the sensor light come on at all. Another thing you can do is take all the sensors out of the stock wheels and put them in the spare tire and inflate the spare to the right pressure. The computer will detect the tire sensor near the car with the right tire pressure.

Hope this help.

So can I just have the system cleared and have these lights go away? I don't understand 2,000 miles go by and nothing untill now? Any easy fix? Can Lexus just clear out the system? Do I really need to break down the wheels and put them in the spare? Can't somthing be figured out becuae 2000 miles and nothing should be able to go back to how it was? I'm confused
