I leave my ECT at PWR mode all the time in my IS350 and my MPG is somewhat around 19.

Yes it does make a lot of difference!

Tried ECT power yesterday for the first time and I have to say it makes an immense difference. You can feel the car revving higher and holder its gears longer. Definitely makes it more aggresive and fun to drive.

I only put about 350 miles on my car and I always drive with it on. It optimizes the tranny for more performance. However, the display has been indicating approx. 18-19 mpg for my tank avg.

Im not sure about the 3G GS, I know you guys say you feel a difference with it on. I know in my 1G GS3 on the dyno, with the ECT on pwr, it gave me another 6 hp to the wheels, so there is somethin to that little button. I just thought Id add to this even though you guys have established it does feel more powerful and more fun.

My ECT is on all the time coz my 2G GS3 is lacking horsepower. As soon I have enough cash to buy 430 it would nice to have extra hp behind + ECT ON all the time.

with ECT ON my average mileage is around 24.5/ 28 mpg at 65 miles average speed. My GS is more econimical on this legal speed limit.

I've had my ECT on for about 3 weeks now, and I've been getting about 25 hwy and 21 city. This is about the same as what I was getting with it off. It takes some getting used to when braking with the tranny downshifting at the same time, but I've gotten used it.
