One of the salesguy at Lexus told me that there is a 3.5L GS350 coming out in October 2006 to replace the existing GS300 3.0L. Possibly, 280-300HP. Avalon Engine?

Has anyone heard anything on this yet?

Do a search for GS350 and it should bring up a lot of topics. I'm thinking it will be thge IS350 3.5l engine with Direct Injection as opposed to the Avalon engine which is a variation but without DI. The GS300 3.0 already has DI, so I figure they would continue in that direction.

I hope not. I want the IS350 engine The RX350 will also get the ES engine but make 270 HP.

The GS350 has been out for almost a year now in Japan. If you can read Japanese, check out the website:

It has the 2GR-FSE engine, which is the same as the IS350.

No, just go to lexus.jp & look at the GS350 on sale there now Can't imagine they'll bring a weaker one here .
