i wonder if it would be possible to put the active sway bar in the '06 300/ '07 350???
Rest assured that this engine is and will continue to be used in many other JDM Toyota models. The Crown's, the Mark X, among a few others.

It's also in the Chinese market IS300 which is the new IS bodystyle with that engine, making I believe 228HP. That would make a nice successor to the IS 250 when it comes time to refresh.

Not really. The IS300 and also the GS300 sold in China and Brunei uses the non-direct-injection version, the 3GR-FE, while the GS300 sold here uses the direct-injection version, the 3GR-FSE. From what I gathered, the only reason Lexus chose to use such engines there is because of the subpar/inconsistent quality of fuel sold in those countries.

Yeah, not bad at all since it's only 1 mpg less than the GS300 RWD. Thanks for the pics, wishlist.

Yeah that's absurd. How can it better the IS350's mileage given that about the only mechanical difference between the them is the wheelbase and weight? Can't believe how 3hp/3tq less can compensate for the weight gain so much.

I hope that since the GS 350 now has 18"ers as an option, the GS 460 gets 19"ers as an option. Only seems appropriate that the more sporting model has bigger rims and grippier tires, at least as an option.
