OK, before I start a rant and rave, can anyone confirm this for the ML audio system on the new GS350.

It appears that the 350 does not have the abailty to play the MP3/WMA CDs and does not come with an aux jack for a MP3 player.

I know that the GS450H has the MP3/WMA capability, but not the aux jack. Would it not make sence that Lexus would be using the same ML audio system in the 350?

Any confirmation on this would be apperciated.

and DVD-A and decodes DTS and Dolby as it is the same system as the GS450h with the Gen. 5 Nav. It does not play in surround sound the Sony DVD audio but will convey them in 2.1. The ES350 and RX350 also play MP3 and WMA discs even without Mark Levinson. The IS and ES only have an aux. mini plug port for MP3 player input. The IPOD must be used for control and no on screen information. We have used the Vaistech module with success for IPOD use and then you can have the steering wheel and some on screen capability. This would be what I would recommend for the IPOD/GS350 owner to do.

Yup his screen name and location say it all. He's a sales at Lexus of Rockville, MD, one that actually knows what he's selling.

i was very surprised to hear the salesman say they were here so i made him clarify first before i went to look. 2 of the others were black and the one that was driving by was smokey granite (since flint mica is no longer avail). i also went to cerritos lexus and south bay lexus since then and both places told me they weren't getting them until next month and that they don't have any info on the changes.

i checked lexus.com and the weight differences between the is350 and gs300 was a whopping 9 pounds. i wonder how much heavier gs350 is.

i also wonder how much the gs460 will be. a fully loaded gs450h is $65,919 every time i checked. it doesn't seem that the 350s pricing changes much. will the 460s change?

one more picture of three of them sitting next to each other. luckily i had the camera with me.

I live in the DFW area and have reserved a silver/black 350 and it is supposed to be in as early as August 29th.

Just an fyi - the dealer is saying there is a 6 month waiting list on the new LS.

if the GS350 is already making 21/29 I bet the GS460 will make very similar numbers seeing the LS460 is 19/28 or so, honestly are there even any tradeoffs when getting a larger engine from lexus? Good job

According to the Japanese Lexus website, the GS350 is only 40 kg.(~88 lb.) heavier than the IS350.
