seems very aggressive that lexus will offer two v8's in the GS line up...unless the GS500 is going to be a sort of AMG/M Series competitor...well if they do come out whit that car...it will be very crazy...lol...so 2008 for the GS460...still a year and half away till we see it...i hope...

Oh, I would have waited had I been aware that a 350 was coming. At the time I bought my 2006 GS300 (spring 2005), neither you nor anyone else on this site was aware of a soon to be 350.

Most of us frequenters on ClubLexus actually knew about the GS350 before the GS300 was even on sale. The main reason is that the GS350 has been on Lexus's Japanese website early last year and has been on sale since last August in Japan. We knew it wouldn't be long before Lexus brings it to the rest of the world. But don't feel bad just because you didn't wait. There's always something better down the road. Enjoy what you can get NOW.

...probably they will add the active stabilizer thingy to the car to improve handling but i am not sure lexus will ever branch out into the exclusive performance lines for each of their vehicles...

heh maybe..lol...but i was just thinking that the gs500 would probably have 440hp or something like that which is way faster than the E500 or S550 or BMW 550i...cuz if the GS450h can already keep in par or surpass the E500 and the BMW 550i...then whe could the GS500 do?......probably they will add the active stabilizer thingy to the car to improve handling but i am not sure lexus will ever branch out into the exclusive performance lines for each of their vehicles...

Yeah, I wish we could some confirmation. My salesperson told me the latest he heard was that Lexus was having trouble fitting the new V8 into the GS engine bay without compromising some structural safety.
Who knows if this is true, but just thought I'd pass it along.

i also doubt it will come out in spring 07...haven't heard of anyone making deposits for the car...or even if japan already has a working model...based upon the fact that the gs350 was already in japan awhile ago so it was safe to assume that it would arrive here...but the gs460 is very hush hush...my guess it that it will come out in 08 and not 07...
