Just spoke with a local dealer where I got my GS and they said the latest was Nov for the 460 release and he was confident that there would be no update on the body. He said except for the badge and the wheels, you won't know the difference.

Doubt it, as that conflicts with a lot of insider info on the 2008 GS460. The most reliable sources out there all say there will be front/rear end updates, a rumoured redesigned front suspension, some interior updates, and of course the new engine.

The dealers can brush aside minor changes in 2008 models by calling them "no change" since it helps them selling the 2007s they have in stock now.

The whole suspension rumour goes back to some info posted way back that said Lexus had fitment problems putting the 4.6L V8 into the GS engine bay. The rumour was that the front suspension was being redesigned in order to comfortably fit the 4.6L V8, and in the process offer improved handling. We will see in the coming months if the rumour was true.

GS460 Prodution Date!
I just got the info from Lexus that the Production date on the GS460 will start on Sept. 28th. The vehicles should be shipped to US within 2-3 weeks, the official Launch Date will be around Nov. 1st.

Yep, I just got off the phone w/ our Lexus dealer. He said about the same thing. However they have not released pricing to them yet. Our dealer is taking orders for customers and getting in the exact vehice they want before just ordering anything thats not presold.
