Default GS Flasher Type/Location

Anyone know what type of flasher the GS uses, have a pinout or have the location? I would like to replace the flasher with an electronic, variable load type so that I can use LED turn signal bulbs without that annoying "bulb out" quick flashing problem... There is apparently a way to do this, without a load resistor (which get very hot and are expensive) by just plugging in a replacement flasher...

Any info would be appreciated!

Moderator: Please do not move this as it pertains specfiically to the GS3 Third-gen. Thanks!

Default Part # / Diagram and Location - Now What???

Okay all,

I have found the part #: 81980-30170 for the Lexus 2006 GS Flasher module... The diagram is below, however, I still cannot tell where the heck it is, exactly. Without an abiliy to pull it out (i.e., location and talent) I cannot locate a drop-in replacement - with a drop-in replacement, we can run LED turn signals WITHOUT a load resistor - which would be GREAT. Anybody willing to take a swing at this and send me a picture of the bottom and sides of the relay so that I can get post details of the replacement module???

i used their 16 led light towers and two 3 ohm equalizers (one for each side). the turn signals look great...

Problem is that I don't want to cut into the wiring and/or generate additional heat... did you actually try the LED's without the load resistor? I had heard a rumour that Lexus migrated to an electronic flasher as standard which MAY mean that a load resistor/equalizer isn't required??

Do you have the exact part numbers you ordered from here for the bulbs and eq's ? I assume this is for the front facing turn signals.. i want to eliminate the yellow in the front.. Is there any way to get the yellow out of the side signals ?

Thanks!
