Hmm, let me think back. Over a period of about seven years, I had no mechanical issues with my GS. But here are some issues I experienced.
1. My '99 GS was a rattle trap from day one...drove me crazy. Numerous trips to the dealer, but some noises always remained. Unfortunately, the rattles got worse as the car aged.
2. Sluggish acceleration response, but this was rectified by an ECU swap.
3. At 30k, my drivers side leather seat was cracking/peeling. My dealer replaced the seat cover.
4. Headlight condensation. Dealer replaced headlights twice.
Honestly, I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst with my '06 GS. I knew the risks associated with driving a car in its first year. However, with the exception of a few rattles, and the weak paint quality on the hood/bumper, the GS has been flawless.

I see a lot of GS300 owners complained about the dash rattling. I was wondering, when did you guys purchased the car? Because I will be picking up the GS300 for my wife this weekend, and I am curious if the dash rattling still exist on cars that are being build about a month ago?
Any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

been able to fix the problem to my satisfaction. Hopefully they've
addressed the issue at the factory since then...

Has anyone else experienced this problem with GS 430 and did the fix mentioned take care of the pulsation. "I detected a pulsation of the vehicle (not the brake) when the brake is depressed and the vehicle is almost stationary" or coming to a stop.
