I can't seem to get my Motorola MPX220 to transfer numbers properly... anyone else have any success? When I transfer, the name goes through, but the numbers come out as straight lines. ie. (|||||||||||) AH! HELP! Thanks in advance.

I am also waiting on an answer to this question since I have the same issue, but with an unlocked Treo 650. It think it might be related to having multiple numbers under a given contact.

ok. I went out to the garage and did some more research. I discovered that if there are parentheses and spaces and hyphens in the phone number it gets transferred as a series of strokes. Try deleting the non-numeric characters (if you have them) and let me know what happens. i.e, change one of your contact numbers to 10 digits without spaces, parens and hyphens.
After over 8 years of keeping contacts in PDAs and phones, and transferring them as things get updated, I have everything entered with characters (the old school way of writing phone numbers.) Now I have to figure out a way of stripping them automatically since there is no practical way of doing this manually.
