Default New wheels and Tire Pressure Sensor

Hey guys, just wondering about issues with the tire pressure sensors. After I installed the new wheels, My tire pressure light didn't come on. I know the sensors are located on my factory wheels and I haven't transfered them, but the light doesn't come on. Is this something anyone else has noticed or come across?? I did get a flat the other day with my HRE's and I didn't get a warning. Any answers?

my tire pressure sensor is always on now? I asked Lexus if they can reset it, but they said it is not possible. Fortunately, it doesn't have a beeping sound....

They gave you the wrong info, in fact if you look at the service bulletins they have one for reseting the tire pressure senors for the 06.

My other comment is that if you go to an "experienced" wheel shop who deals with higher end cars they know how to make the switch and will move the sensors to your new wheels (given there is room).

Thanks for the tip. My tech has been doing that for other guys as well and it works great, but my light isn't even coming on... tripping out... everyone elses comes on within a week...

And what's the point of telling you you have a flat a week later anyway? Faulty system? Has anyone with even stockies had their system function correctly?

If there is a way to disable the tire pressure sensor PLEASE let me know. I have put on GS 430 wheels for summer use and don't want to swap the sensors. I have been to Lexus dealers and called Lexus direct....everyone says there is no way to disable the pressure monitoring system.

My new wheels came with sensor kit, HRE also makes kit to transfer the sensor from your stock wheels. You don't need to drill extra holes....
