Rock, what has your dealership been doing for an XM install on the 450h? I have a new regular 450h but the indication was that a new install kit with a new antenna was needed to make the proper fit for XM service with the new small antenna on the rear right trunk lid. Thus I took delivery of the 450h without the install, waiting for the new kit and antenna to arrive, which may be in weeks, not days.

Has your dealership encountered the same for XM in the 450h? I am already an XM customer and have portable Myfi units to use but not the same as a fully integrated solution that should be the case with the450h. Just wait out the delivery of the new kits/antennas or have you found a better interim solution? Many thanks.

receivers. The conventional GS has plenty of room to get under the rear parcel shelf with the antenna wire. The GS450h has the hybrid battery there. I would still try to put the antenna inside next to the rear brake light. I think it distracts from the car on the outside and the antenna is magnetized and can move around on the trunklid with the wire puckering off it. We have had good reception inside the glass on the parcel shelf...XM is preferred by most. Sorry Howard...
