Does this work for the 2008 GS350? I've tried it a couple of times without success.

Step 5 says:
5) Hold the ODO/TRIP button. Wait ten seconds, and while still holding the button, buckle the drivers seat belt.
Actually, you need to hold the ODO/TRIP button for at least one minute.
I tried this procedure several times without success. However, it worked the first time when I held the ODO/TRIP button for a minute instead of ten seconds.
Thanks, however, for a great tip. Like others, although I always wear my seat belt, I tend not to put it for a minute or two until I "get settled".

Ok I just got my 2006 GS 430, after owning a 2004 BMW X5, and a 2005 BMW 545i!! I absoluetly love this car..there's no problems so far whatsoever!!
My question is,
Is there a way to disable the safety message when you start up the car, the one where you have to press on "I agree"?? It's really pissing me off that I have to press it everytime I start the car!!
Any tips??

Was this ever answered or figured out? I would love to get rid of this message on start-up as well.
