Hi folks,

i got it !!!!

It is little different to switch off the safety belt buzzer.

Little instruction for all GS450h drivers :

1.) enter car and close doors and windows
2.) press START-Button twice (no brakes)
3.) use ODO-Button to enter ODO..... on LCD-Display
4.) press START-Button once to shut down all systems
5.) press START-Button again twice (no brakes)
6.) press ODO-Button quickly and keep it pressed for about 30 sec.
7.) buckle up and keep ODO-Button still pressed
8.) now SAFETY-BELT-BUZZER ON appears in LCD-Display
9.) use ODO-Button to change to SAFETY-BELT-BUZZER OFF
10.) press START-Button to shut down all systems

That's it.....

Thx for all hints here in this forum and many greetings from Germany !!!

Does this work for the 2008 GS350? I've tried it a couple of times without success.

fyi -- I found the same question on another forum. Here is the difference however

Step 5 says:

5) Hold the ODO/TRIP button. Wait ten seconds, and while still holding the button, buckle the driver’s seat belt.

Actually, you need to hold the ODO/TRIP button for at least one minute.

I tried this procedure several times without success. However, it worked the first time when I held the ODO/TRIP button for a minute instead of ten seconds.

Thanks, however, for a great tip. Like others, although I always wear my seat belt, I tend not to put it for a minute or two until I "get settled".

My question is,
Is there a way to disable the safety message when you start up the car, the one where you have to press on "I agree"?? It's really pissing me off that I have to press it everytime I start the car!!

Any tips??
Sorry if I missed it guys but I got to page 15 and didn't see any reply.

Was this ever answered or figured out? I would love to get rid of this message on start-up as well.
