Took me 5 years before I took the plastic off the scuff plates in my RX. The plastic was starting to peel so I had no choice bet to get finally take it off. I don't believe they left out this out for the GS. It's available in the IS..how can that be..

Are they the new '08 GS Illuminated Door Sills ? Can they be installed on the '07 ? Did someone have these ?

definitely not standard, there is a gs460 without them in CA as well.

Just asked my service advisor at Sewell, he said only cost aobut $60 for the labor to install the door sills...

Very tempting!!!

oh man that looks tempting...but it's so expensive! I'm surprised there is no aftermarket ones available. I had AMG ones on my E55, I love them. People always were impressed with them

09 RX350 comes standard with lighted scuff plates. I noticed that b/c it was a courtesy car loaner when I had my car in for service.

doubt it, it's part of the premium package, when I was invited for the RX preview events, the barebone model does not have it
