Illuminated Scuff Plates
I did not know Iluminated Scuff Plates were available. Yes I am interested in installing them. I have them in my Wife's Mercedes and they are worth the effort and cost. DavidJ

I wonder if the GS350 will have them. Does the GS450 have them? Anyone plan on buying these for their GS300/430? A set of 4 for $500.

Nice, are all the instructions in Japanese? If you can, please do a step-by-step writeup of how you install the scuff plates. I'm sure many are interested.

Yes everything is in Japanese, but I think it looks pretty straight forward, there are 2 lengths of wire, big loops in the pic above, and on one end it looks to be power and ground vampire clips to tap in somewhere near the front dash by the door in there somewhere and along the run of wire are 2 molex connectors that snap into each scuff plate. Also included are a bunch of zip ties and 4 wire bushings for pass through of the wires somewhere along the line. As soon as I get them on next week I'll post pics at night so all you guys can see how bright and pretty they are. Oh and yes I will post a detailed step by step instructions on how to install them with good pictures.
