Need Help - Wheels Rubbing on front fender wheel well
I have a 06 gs 430 lowered with tanabe springs 2" drop... on some mrr gt-1...
back wheels fit fine but i thikn they gave me the wrong off set for the front... i needed a 5mm spacer as the wheels would hit the calipers . but after the spacer thw wheels started hitting the front part of the wheel well.
anyone have ideas on how to fix this problem? ive had the fenders rolled and had some metal shaved but it still rubs.
Car is dumped.... anyone know hwo i can raise the car in the front like 1/4 inch or so????!!!??
thanks!!.........

You need to check your offsets and wheel widths with the vendor that sold you that wheel and tire combo- a poor offset and wheel combination can only be fixed to a certain extent with only spacers/fender rolling.
If you post your rim size, offset, and tire size, you may be able to get better insight on curing your rubbing issue.

Got the perfect solution, for the 1/4" raise. Get the S-tech Tein springs. Thats what I have, and the drop is perfect with 20" Iforged senaka's 20X9 and 20X10. Can't help you with the offsets. I hope you have the receipt. I'm gonna roll my fenders soon, got the tein CS on order. Wanna buy these springs? Offer.....?

The wheels are rubbing? Or do you mean the tires?
Bummer that the wheels need spacers. The GS430 does have big brakes on it; you would think that most wheel companies would have figured that out by now.
What tire size are you running? Perhaps a narrower/shorter tire would help.
And where is the rubbing occuring? On the plastic fender liner or the metal lip of the fender?
If it's rubbing the plastic, this is fairly common on these cars. I wouldn't sweat it too much. You can modify/reshape the plastic liner with a heat gun and a bag of ice. (heat it/move it/cool it)

i have a rubbing problem too. my suggestion is to pull the plastic trim from front fender well, and then cut down the fenders. You don't really notice, and its much better than rubbing... its just the price we pay... one thing though, is that the inner lining has been wearing away too now... for that there is no fix...
