Angry Someone egged my baby

Just bought a brand new 06 GS 300 for 500 over invoice (Nav, no ML) yesterday.

Drove it home, went to bed. Got up in the morning, drove to work and I found that someone EGGED my car!!!!!!!!

Judging from the streak, they must have done it while I was driving. I got to the office and got some water and towels to clean it off only to discover that there's a big fat paint chip cluster from the impact of the egg.

Anybody suggest any remedies?

undortunately, there is no solution but to repaint... same as brake fluid. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) the proteins from the Egg actually wat away at teh clear coat and paint. I yhink you have that nice centralizes point witht the big white spot and a couple radius orviting the spot.... sorry buddy.. sucks to hear it...

I'm sure the dealer would try detailing the car to help out. But a free re-paint? I highly doubt it. How bad is the damage? Do you have any pics?

Yeah I called, he says bring it in tomorrow -- whew...

I tried taking a picture of it with my camera but the resolution isn't high enough to pick up the scratch ... I guess that's a good thing, but it's still visible close up with the naked eye.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions, I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

And yes, I am going to make it #1 priority to move out of my neighborhood (Escondido) ASAP.

I feel your pain. Within the first 3 weeks of owning my GS300, I pulled into a high curb and scuffed my front fascia/bumper. I thought it was the end of the world, but I'm over it now. You can't even see it unless you bend down and examine it.

We're all guilty of babying our new rides and being overly **** about things.

Babying a new ride is one thing, but when some assf-ck eggs your brand new car for no reason other than pure jealousy, that REALLY sucks.
