2007 Gs350 Prices
#47
This is my first post. I havent taken delivery yet, but after reading some of the prices paid makes me wonder. Shopping for the 350 here in the northeast wasnt as bad as i thought. I visited approximatley 5 dealers and they all seemed to be right at MSRP or 500 below on 07 GS350 AWD W/NAV no ML, rear spoiler, vented seats, all weather mats, pref. ***. package.
Inovoice was at 43,826/49261 MSRP
dealer 1 - 45,826
dealer 2 - didnt negotiate at all
dealer 3 - told me take the 45,826 and run. he couldnt touch that price
dealer 4 - 46,300 couldnt match dealer 1, claiming he didnt want to get in trouble.
then i decided to do an online dealer quote just to see how what would happen. the following day i received several E-mails and phone calls from Ray Catena in New Jersey. After some intense negotiations and several phone calls later he agreed to drop 500 from my first quote to 45,326 and give me a 5.7% APR. All Other dealers were giving me a 7.99 and 7.95 APR even though my FICO score was in the 800 range. I felt like i got a pretty good deal, but after reading some of these post i wonder. i should take delivery late september. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I still continue to wait to purchase my GS350.
Here's the breakdown of pricing on a GS350 RWD Navigation, NO ML:
MSRP: $48,977
1st Dealer - Westminster
Date: 8/30/2006
Price: $45,987
2nd Dealer - Tustin
Date: 9/11/2006
Price: $44,987
3rd Dealer - Torrance
Date: 9/18/2006
Price: $43,938
$2,000 savings is a big difference. I think this will probably be the best price for now.

I think that until they post the actual invoice prices on these cars, 5000-6000 under MSRP is the way to go. That is the conventional markup for Lexus. Also, I would never give them a dime for the "dealer prep" or whatever they might call it in your region.. Pure profit! That fee is usually over $500. Ultimately, $500 over invoice is the right price to pay.

The thing you have to remember about all these types of threads is that local conditions (# of dealers in vicinity, local demand, etc) determine pricing more than anything else. I suspect most people who post excellent prices on here are in areas with multiple dealers in small area. Other areas with less competition may find getting large discounts much more difficult. E.g, there are only 4 lexus dealers in the whole state of NC, and 2 of them are owned by the same guy.

So the price I got quoted at Torrance Lexus is $500 over invoice. As for HeartDOC, I think there are 4 Lexus Dealers in a 25 mile area for us here in So. CAL. Competitive Market here. Do you have to pay taxes on your vehichle?

I'm ready to buy as soon as I get rid of my current ride. I know it's a great price so might as well jump on it now. Anyone interested in a 99 Honda Accord???
I was at the Taste of Lexus as well. I drove the GS350 3 times and the IS350 3 times. The GS350 was very smooth and fast. The IS350 is a little rocket.

Sheesh I wish that included tax and licensing. Everyone in Calfornia can get a great price on the car, but when it boils down to the final cost it can be an arm and a leg with taxed included into the cost.
2007 GS350 - $43,938 + 4,398 (tax and licensing) = $48,336.
I need to purchase my car in AZ. Does anyone know the loops holes of buying a car out of state and not having to pay taxes?
For $4,398, i can get myself some PHAT 20" Rims.
