The new ad by Lexus, I saw today the middle and end of it. You won't see many as the GS 350 release is a "soft' one, i.e not much marketing.

They had 2 GSs, I am assuming a AWD and RWD, ripping up the crowded streets of NY.

Seemed cool, except its too crowded in NY to drive like that.

Nice ad though...they clearly state the new 303 hp Lexus GS 350..

I saw that ad a couple of times over the weekend and thought it was an interesting premise for two Lexus GSs to race each other through NYC. Of course anyone who has actually driven in NYC knows that it's suicidal/impossible to race through those streets. However, I'm sure that there are a few people who will try to emulate the situation in that commercial.

Oh you can, but it would have to be 5:00 am on a Saturday before people start waking up. I haven't done 90mph like the commercial shows, but I've done 59th street bridge to Holland tunnel hitting just two stop lights. That's pretty much half the stretch of Manhantta. From the commericial, it looked like it was mid day though, so it won't be possible. I'm not sure where they were dropped, but if it's midtown, then you'd get to Lincoln tunnel way before Holland. The one going to Holland tunnel must have been a special GS500 not advertised.

I saw this commercial too. Very cool.

It would have been even cooler if the guy who was pushing the cart and crossing the street in front of the GS had said, "hey, I'm walkin' here!"
