Hi everyone-

I've done a search for Vaistech in this forum and haven't found an answer to this particular concern...

On the website, it allows you to order for the 06 GS300 or for the 07 GS450h. I know that my 07 GS350 has the Gen5 nav system that is in the 450h, but VAISTech support told me to order the one for the 06 GS300.

My concern is that if I order the GS300 system, that my interface for VAIS will be look like the Gen4 nav system...does anyone know if this is the case or which one I should order?

Also, any feedback on overall performance, and how to switch it from Simple mode and back to full integration would be terrific!

Vaistech upgraded my unit for a Gen V Nav in my 2007 RX350. Their technical support is excellent and the unit works great - even gets rid of the "I agree" screen.

 

um...what else does Vaistech do for your navi sys?...like does it also allow you to play dvd's while driving or other options?....

 

It does nothing else.

I don't see why getting the GS300 version is closer to the GS350, because they have different generation navigation systems. The 450h on the other hand uses Generation 5 just like the 350. So, i don't know. I say ask again and make sure that they're absolutely sure about it.

Uhh... yeah another thing I've wondered about is... although we call it "Gen [blank] navi" and all that, if you get a Non-Nav car you'd still have that generation nav interface (like the AUDIO interface for instance), right?
