6000k will definitely have that blueish tint to it, and it will make your stock headlights look more yellow.

EDIT: Oh and car looks real good.

8000k will be a lot more bluer, 6000k has more of a purplish hue to it. Technically sinnce the kelvin is higher, the 8000k shouldnt light up the road as well as 6000k. But most say the difference is very small, and worth it if you are going for a "blue" look.

well doing some further research on the forums here..
the headlights are d4s and the highbeams are 9005..
lookin on the website i didnt see a d4s hid kit for the headlights
can i still just replace the 4300K headlights w/ the 6000k using the 9005 hid kit?
thanks

You're right, the headlights (low beams) are D4S bulbs. My mistake.

I am very tempted to do it also.

What numbers did you use for the drop? It's slightly different
from RWD supposedly.

Also, where did you get it done?

Thanks.

Go for it, marshmallo! I'm pretty sure you won't regret it. Not sure what you mean when you asked what numbers I used for the drop? I didn't actually use a ruler to measure how much it dropped, but in terms of fingers, the wheelgap before was 4 fingers for the front and 3 fingers for the back. After the drop it's 2 fingers for both the front and back.

Had it done here in NY by a CL member's brother. If you're interested, I'll let you know.

I was wondering how many inch drop you got on the front and
back, but the fingers measurement gives me a good idea.

NY is a bit far for me. I was just wondering how you went about
and found someone who knew what he was doing. It's a bit tricky
since the suspension warranty is voided

Thanks again for the info!

I will probably wait until spring to do it

I went over to the NELOC/Northeast section of this forum and heard some good recommendations for this guy, who happens to be pretty close to where I live so I just took it there. Why wait til Spring? Jump on them now.

Looks great!

You'll probably end up re-aiming the headlights again ...

I'd like to get 19's but it'll have to be sometime in the future.
