I was driving to work this morning, cruising at around 90 mph when I started to notice a very low frequency vibration. I ignored it at first assuming it was the road surface.
It started getting louder, I thought it may be tire balance - maybe a weight fell off since I had the tires balanced only 3 days ago. I slowed down but the vibration continued and got louder.
I stopped the car on the motorway assuming I was about to have a puncture, got out, looked at all the tires - nothing out of the ordinary but I could detect a faint burning smell. I was thinking that must be the smell of the GS300 after traveling at speed.
I decided to travel the remaining 8 miles to the office and the vibration completely went away. When I got out of the car I noticed that burning smell - it smelt like burning metal and was much stronger.
I'm taking it to the dealer today after work - have you guys ever experienced anything like this?

I was at speed for about 15 minutes. The dealer couldn't find anything - they put it up on the jack and couldn't see anything obvious, checked the brakes, handbrake, wheels, bolts, test drove it and said everything was fine.
They told me if it happens again then bring it back; maybe some dust got into the fuel system. I really have to wonder about that since they just serviced it a few days earlier...Anyways I won't be going anywhere at 90 mph until Saturday.
