i have an 07, but if i had an 06, i wouldn't trade up for it. I'd keep the 06 for a couple more years then get something better.

I'm going to wait till Lexus puts biggest and fastest engine in current model!!

I hope GS460 next year is the last engine upgrade and GS-F's just a rumor...
I don't wanna feel bad... once I switch to GS460... Lexus announces GS-F...

I gotta agree 100% with DallasLex. Body style and the 'wow' factor is 75% in my decision making and you know that the CLS might be hot. You have to admit the Lexus GS is a nice looking car but does not have the 'wow' or 'hot' factor as a Benzito....

I was going to get a Lexus GS350 but I might wait for the following:

CLS
A5
Panarama
XF

I've had 2 accidents in the last year (one courtesy of a valet parking attendant) that have not been repaired properly by the dealer, dash rattles that keep coming back, a small crack on my windshield that my insurance doesn't cover, a nasty curb dent on one of my wheels, Generation 4 NAV WITHOUT voice activation, a ML stereo that can't play DVD-A's, no smog detector and a brake replacement due at the next service...All of this can be fixed by simply upgrading to the '07 model.

There is one thing that is holding me back - there is no 350 in this part of the world - they are continuing with the 300 and the non-direct injection version with a measly 230 hp. The dealer is offering me $40,600 for the car which cost me $50,750.

Should I:
- get another GS300 for an extra $7,750 - $8,750
- upgrade to a GS430 for an extra $16,000-$17,000
- Stop obsessing about having a perfect car, the new one will get damaged anyway...
