New member.. new GS300.. first questions re:Fujita/Tenabe/Rims
Hi all, just got into an 06 GS300 AWD and love it.. I've actually owned two other Lexus vehicles, and ES300 which i traded for the GS and the wife is driving an RX300.. But as you will see in my first photo of the GS, my car enthusiasm has been elsewhere

I'm not one to stay 'stock' , even the RX has a Rod Millen exhaust.. So, time to start the GS mods First question, anyone have any experience with Fujita intakes? IT's the only one i've found so far for an 06 GS300.. After looking under the hood, the way the current intake box works, its almost, and i say 'almost' setup to be somewhat of a 'ram air' (terminology from my Pontiac Formula days) So, would putting an intake like this on have somewhat of a negative affect by eliminating the air box which is getting fresh cold air, and putting an intake with an open cone filter getting its air from the engine compartmnet? Also curious how this would sound on a V6

Second is the Tenabe exhaust.. Love the looks and any performance would be a plus, but i'd prefer to keep the nice quiet Lexus ride unless i'm full throttle.. wondering if this would do the trick..

Finally, i'm looking for a set of the 18in 06 GS430 5-spoke rims or 450h rims. If anyone is selling or know where I can get my hands on a set, i'm interested..
PIAA bulbs should be here friday so I'll at least have something to do for the weekend .. any tips on changing fogs appreciated.. they were a pain on the ES300..
Looking forward to hanging on this board.. Love the Mod and Hack threads, spend hours there yesterday .. there are some kick a$$ cars in there.. The boxster is going bye bye so no more need to follow the boxster boards..
Thanks all,
Ron

I just put 3k hid fogs in my 430. Really easy. I took the bumper off so I could hide the kit and make everything look as nice as possible. I live just on the other side of the river in southgate. We could meet up if you wanted to check out the rides. I'd say I'd trade you low beam bulbs (I have 6k and hate them) but I already told my buddy id trade him. Good luck on mods.
