To sharkfin or not sharkfin?

While we are at it, why not add headlights on the side too. (get it?)

I think it takes away from the clean and fluid lines of the car.... It's like have a zit on your forehead...

Replace sharkfin with directv dish
I have XM on my directv at home. I'm not digging the sharkfin on my 4 day old GS. Time to lop off the fin and replace with the 18" dish?

I'd seriously rather see this...someone photoshop it and send it to Lexus, it'll probably make it on '08's.

I vote no shark fin on the GS. L-Finese is not intended for a shark fin. If it was we would have seen it on the 2006 model GS, IS and 2007 ES. Looking at the Porches, Lambos, Bentley Coup GT, and 2006 CLS's around town here in Denver, CO. I don't see any shark fins on those cars.
As for the post above, L-Finesse was designed with the sharkfin in mind. The new GS and IS have had the sharkfin from day one in Japan. Patent laws prevented Lexus from using the sharkfin here in the U.S. until now.
The other cars you mention without sharkfins - do they offer satellite radio? I'm pretty sure they do not. If sat radio is offered I believe an external antenna would be needed. And the CLS has always had a black vertical antenna above the rear window (I think the Lexus sharkfin looks much better).
Nearly all higher end cars have some type of sharkfin. Yet most lower-end cars do not. I think the sharkfin is both very stylish and functional.
