I agree. I have the gs450h, which doesn't come with the fin! thank god. I will install the receiver in a place where is works perfect but isn't on my roof. UGLY

NO MORE SHARK FINS!!!! sorry for yelling but I hate those things. I was thinking maybe an aftermarket replacment for the fin, like a bobble head? Those would look better then the fins. lol

I was looking at my mother's 06 530 today....
Once again I thought... what a ugly thing on her roof...
She can't even remove it since her roof already comes with groove for the antena...

I dont think it makes the cars look better. However I dont mind it and really wouldnt care if its there or not. I barely notice the thing until someone points it out. 
I'd rather have a sharkfin than that long antennae that came standard on the IS300 though.

1/3 voted Yes, while I see only "No" replies in this thread Also, all negative responses come from GS300 owners? I got '07 GS350 so it comes with sharkfin, not a choice. I don't mind it at all. Its the only detail that visually sets GS350 apart from GS300. Also, I probably gonna get yelled for this, but GS's L-finesse rear window has some "hatchback" resemblance from a side (yeah, the same as Maxima, bla-bla-bla). The sharkfin improves that look. Just my very humble opinion 
BTW, I was told the sharkfin antenna only designed for XM and not Sirius
