Hi all, I just purchased a GS 350 with all the good stuff. This is the first sport sedan I have purchased that wasn't German. My first impression of the car is the level of quality and refinement, I traded in my 2000 BMW M5 knowing that the GS wouldn't handle as good or have the power, but the M5 repair bill was starting to escalate. On the drive home, I really put the GS through some fast twisties, it handled great and got great gas milege to boot.
If this car does what it is reputed to do with Lexus reliability, I may be a Lexus lifer.

Congratulations on your new Lexus GS350. Hope you enjoy it. Are you planning to modify it?

Congrats. No make/model is perfect, there will be lemons as you can tell from these forums, but I'd bank on Lexus for reliability any day. Have fun with your car. Believe me, you'll get bored with it's reliability before you get sick of the repairs required.

Took a long drive in the car with the windows down, the tire noise was pretty loud. The car came equipped with Dunlops on 18" wheels, its louder than the Pirellis I had on my M5. Anyone else have this problem?
