In all of the excitement during delivery, I failed to realize that the nav manuals were missing from the cars. I am still waiting for them to arrive (being ordered and sent from the dealership) so I don't know what the voice commands are for the car. I did figure out the temp command.

XX degrees will set the climate control to XX degrees.

Any other useful ones?

Great list! I probably won't remember them but it helps. It's kind of tough getting used to another set of voice commands. I just barely got the hang of voice commands in the 745Li. That car needs voice commands because it's a real pain to try and dial the phone using the i-drive!

Try saying "help" and an extensive list will come up on the screen for scrolling purposes.

On the '07 Gen. 5 you can say "nearest" before any POI. Example "Nearest Fast Food" It will display the nearest fast food restaurant. If you are stopped you can say "showlist" and it will sort all the fast food locations by distance.

"Cinema" is used for movie theaters
"Coffee House" for Starbucks
"Ice Cream Parlor" for Ben and Jerrys
"Thai Food" for Pad Thai

If your not in the correct screen this can occur. I initially gave up too, but I recently went back and played with the system and to my amazement the system really does work. Now all I have to do is memorize the important commands.

I tried "warmer" and "cooler" today and I found it interesting that it goes in 4 degree increments. Strange but I guess it works.
