Tire / Rim combo + drop approval???
Before I drop some cheddar on a set of rims,... having searched thru the forums, arguing with rims shop after shop,... I need to borrow ya'lls insight for a second.
I am looking at staggered 20" setup
20 x 8.5 front
20 x 10 rear
tires - 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 in the rear.
Tanabe NF210 lowering springs.
Will I have rub issues with this combo as far as anyone knows?? I saw a few people with 285/25/20's in the rear,... and the cost difference is obviously there. Any preference on the range of offsets that will work on this vehicle???
Any help would be appreciated.

yes,my wife and 3 month old boy. and 4 cases of water and 4 cases of baby formula,50 pound bag of dog food.no rub on back. I forgot the offset of the back rims. The thing I don't like is the uneven look, front to back. I like the back to a little lower.

I've got some rub in my fronts, running 245/35's, just a little bit in the front, its plastic rub, and its only at a little tick of the wheel. check out my pictures, they are in here somewhere, I believe i put up the pics of when i lowered it along with the wheels.

When it comes time to change rubber I may go with 30 series in front and 25 series in the rear to reduce rubbing and keep the rolling diameter closer to stock. However, I may have a little more gap between the fender and tire, it may not be too much though.

I'M RUNNING 30'S IN THE F AND R AND NO RUBBING ISSUES...UNTIL...I HAVE PASSENGERS IN THE REAR. STILL NOT BAD AT ALL. I USED TEIN S-TECH SPRINGS AND LOVE THE DRIVE AND LOOK. REGARDLESS I DO RUB ON FULL U-TURNS BUT I BELIEVE EVERYONE WITH DROPPED ON 20'S WILL HAVE THAT PROBLEM ESPECIALLY RUNNING 245 IN THE F.

Best Tire size
If you are going to be slammed or drop it alot and want to avoid rubbing issues, go with 30 front and 25 rear. Yeah, tires are more expensive but your rims will look a lot better and you will Rub less. If you are going with 1" drop and have the right offset wheels in rear, go with 35 F and 30 R

I don't know the offset as of yet,.. but since Derrick of D2Autosport is hookin' my wheels up, I'm sure he's gonna get me the correct offset.
What is the range of offsets used that will work with the Tanabe NF210 that keep the wheel within the fender, and not too close in???
