GS 450h HID's and HID fogs??!!??!!
I've had my GS 450h for about 2 months now. Thinking of changing out the OEM HID's to something with a higher Kelvin. Any suggestions? I'm also going to install the HID fogs. Which is the best most reliable brands to install? Both bulbs and kits? I don't want to save a ton of $$ if the quality is crap! Brand names and companies please!!

just buy the bulbs?
Not up to date with everything needed to change.
To do the HID low beam bulbs as well as other bulbs besides the fog lights which I am changing to HID, but do I just need to purchase the single bulb for each light? is there a reputable site online to order from or do I need to go to a local custom shop?
ALso what brands for HID fogs?
any thoughts on 12000K bulbs????? what is the OEM kelvin?

All you need are bulbs for the low beams. For the fogs, you'll need a conversion kit which includes ballasts. I got my Phillips HID fog light kit from Xenon Depot. The factory low beams are 4300k. IMO, anything higher than 6000k is too dim, unless of course you're just going for looks. Even then, I wouldn't go higher than 8000k.

SGT, can you send me a link for the actual ballast and hid bulbs I would need? I will go with the 6000K fogs and 6000K lows. Maybe 8000K for lows. not sure yet. Is the light difference a huge negative?? very noticable?
Any pics comparing OEM, to 6000K, to 8000K side by side?
Just sceptical who I get advice and who I purchase from. I've seen all the pics, just want personal thoughts. I like to gather as much info as possible before I work...

Here's the 6000k HID fog light kit you need - http://www.xenondepot.com/product.php?product_id=17.
I haven't changed my factory HID low beams so I can't give you advice there. The light difference between 6000k and 8000k is noticeable, but even more obvious is the change in color from a blueish output to a purplish output, respectively.
