Threxx, we post them every month in our monthly sales stickey in car chat![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Not sure but E and 5 are battling for first, but the GS is in 3rd. STS and M35/45 maybe 4th. RL is near the bottom.
Well remember, the GS only had 2 engine choices until the 450h and that is limited production (2k units). THere is no wagon, no M/AMG model and no value model like a 525....
That is why it is important to look at Lexus sales targets and not being #1 in sales.
Sometimes we all think Lexus has failed b/c its not the best selling
especially since the RX/ES/LS are always near tops in sales every year if not leading the segment.

All good information.. but most likely speculation...nobody knows for sure.. And you can be sure that the higher ups are not speaking in these forums.

Personally I like 5 year cycles. 6 years max. Even as an SC400 owner I thought it ran too long. I liked the 2nd gen GS style as well, but I too think it was way too long a cycle. I hope Lexus doesn't go longer than 6 years for any of its models. I would like to see some sort of upgrade every year as well. Like the fact they upgraded to the GS350 engine. Hopefully 2008 will have a slight tail light redesign or something. Then a slight bumper valance change after that. Either way, I'd like to see some sort of significant upgrade each year from every manufacturer.

The engine change inthe GS was out of the norm for Lexus. Usually we would see a mid-cycle refreshening after 3-4 years, and then a special edition model the year before the new model arrives. But I do agree that 6 years is a pretty good time for a model run.
