i was browsing ebay and came across these stock GS wheels that are the same as the ones on my car. the only difference is that theyre chrome. i need an honest opinion guys. for/against doesnt really matter. if you think im crazy i welcome that too. i like the chrome and i like the fact thats its still a stock wheel. who maybe ill just leave it alone. let me know

I have the stock chrome 17's, same as in the link you posted. They look pretty cool, but I am planning to go to some wide staggered 19's. Car looks way better with bigger rims. 17's don't cut it in my opinion.
But, if you really like them, I would keep looking, because that is not a very good price. You could probably find someone selling those rims with tires for that price. Keep your eyes on the classifieds section on here or post a wanted ad.
Heck, I'd sell you mine with tires for that price, but I plan to keep them for winter driving. The chemicals they put on the roads here in Denver kill rims.

I'd Say If You Have The Money For Aftermarket Go For The Bigger Staggered Look... But From The Picture Above I'd Say Go For The Stock Chrome They Don't Look 1/2 Bad And You Can Save The Money On Tires For Something Else..... (but If It Was Me 20" Staggered Baby..... Lol)

I did a chrome exchange from a place in Santa Ana, cost was $500 at the time, 15 months ago and tires and sensors were simply swapped at a nearby tire shop, $80 and i was done. i noticed that the dealer (longo) marks up the vehicle MSRP by $1600 for same wheels. here is a surprise, it seems that even Longo uses a 3rd party for chroming wheels because the chrome looks slighlty imperfect with very minor waves on the aftermarket chroming process....I dont know too much about aftermarket wheels, but I assume that a decent set of chrome wheels and tires can easily cost $1500, you dont want to put on the $125 "wheels on special" from Just tires or whatever on your ride....JMHO

Honestly... I'm not a big chrome fan...
You should get bigger after market wheels or get OEM 18" 5-spoke or wait for LS460 19"!!
If you were thinking about spending $800... plus your current wheels worth about $700... That give your a budget of $1500!!
