Default '07 interior lighting

Does the '07 GS's interior lighting improve over the dreadfully dim interior lighting of the '06?

I love the way my car lights up when I enter- outside and in. If it was brighter it wouldn't be as subtle.....imho

No the interior lighting has not been improved at all. I can honestly say this is my biggest complaint about the car. The only thing you can see is your feet!

The lighting on the door buttons is absolutely horrible and I end up hitting the window locks nearly every time I try to unlock the doors at night. The overhead light controls are not lighted and you can't tell what is what as is the case with the sun roof. Several people on the forms have said they didn't even know the steering wheel lights were on.

Yeah, the interior lights seem to only serve for aesthetic purposes. I like it, but found it to be impractical especially when looking for something. A quick solution is to use the visor light. I always keep the mirror flap slid open so when I flip the visor, I get the normal incandescent bright light that everyone's use to. Hope this helps.
