Default Any good all season tires for GS430 18 inch wheels that do not tramline?

I have a GS300 AWD with the GS430 18 inch wheels. I just got the new Pirelli Zero Nero M+S all seaons tires today and I dislike the way it tramlines just like the summer tires that the 18 inch wheels originally came with. Are there any good all seaons tires that any of you have that DOES not TRAMLINE or FORCES THE STEERING WHEEL TO TURN HEAVILY TO ONE SIDE WHEN COMING to a final brake at a stop light on an uneven road. I think it must be the low tire pressure of 31 PSI that the discount tire place put in the tire. But I am going back on monday to change them to something else. I am dissapointed that the LExus tramlines too much. My original 17 inch wheels did not do this. Let me know. Thanks!

Sorry for not stating what it means. It is when the car tire follows the grooves in the road too much and even on flat roads, the car steering sometimes turns too much to one side with the grooves or rut in the roads. But this should not happen with the all season tires which have more studded tires vs. the low profile tires.

I've noticed this with the 18" Yokohama Advan summer tires, too - it's really annoying.

I'm hoping somebody will post that Michelin Pilot Sports or Bridegstone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions don't behave that way.

Also, what are others replacing these advans with? I think there must be a tire that isn't as harsh on the road, quieter, and still handles excellent??? with excellent wet weather traction (oregon weather!).

As far as groove interaction is concerned I think its related to the tire construction and the fact that we're all running much wider tires than 20 years ago. I don't think the narrow cross bias tires were nearly as affected as the wide radials are but maybe we could get a tire expert to weigh in on this. It's particularly irritating on my SLK; I think its shortness of wheelbase contributes as well.

As far a all weather/winter tires go, we put a set of Blizzaks on last year and seemed to run OK although I noticed a little squirming as it went around corners. We'll be remounting them shortly as well because its starting to rain here in Portland.

My Pirelli's seldom tramline enough to affect my overall satisfaction. It's only happened to me a few times.

we replaced 18" yoko advans w/ michelin pilot sport a/s. when i was doing my search i was very close to considering the pirelli p zero neros because they are almost $100 cheaper per piece.

after posting on this forum and reading a ton of reviews on various other forums, i chose the michelins b/c there were some complaints of the pzero neros tramlining (not a lot of complaints, maybe about 25-30% of reviews). i could have saved a lot of money on the set, but after my issues w/ the advans i just wanted to go with a problem free tire, which the michelin pilot sport a/s has turned out to be. we had them on our SC as well to replace the runflats. the treadlife is very good and the ride is comfortable and quiet.

p.s. costco has a $60 off set of michelins for a while longer, which isn't much makes the cost of the michelins cheaper than tirerack or any other discount tire place.
