Default Stock GS350 ran 14.119 @ 99.66mph

I decided to take the GS to the track tonight. I have to admit I was very surprise with the results. I did 4 runs with the worst being 14.2 and the best at 14.1, this was done at Moroso Motorsport Park in south fla. This track is one of the worse track in the country. When I ran my IS350 there for the first time, I couldn't even break 13. The first run was in D with temporary trac off. The rest of the runs were with permanent trac off(the brake padle dance lol) and in sport mode. Outside temp was 79 degree. The car has less than 300 miles on it when I got to the track.
The car was getting faster and faster and it started to rain. I have no doubt in my mind that it could have hit 14.0. Here is the result of all 4 runs.

r/t 60' 1/4 MPH

run1 .344 2.227 14.234 98.42
run2 .034 2.219 14.173 99.18
run3 .092 2.186 14.133 99.43
run4 .344 2.227 14.119 99.66

thanks, I used to go to the track for a hobby but now I only go every once in a while. The GS is every consistent on the 60' so I think next time if I go with the GS again I will do bracket racing. The IS350 on the other hand is spin city so the 60' is not too consistent.

You can't really pratice when its an auto, just stomp on the gas and go lol. I will go back once it's cold in south florida(which doesn't happen too often). Bigger tires will definely help because right now the tires are only 225 wide. Next time when I go I will slap on the 255 tires from my IS350 just to see how it will do.

yea give it another month or so and the weather will be cooler here. A nice free flowing exhaust and intake may take the car to high 13's

Sucks that a 3.5L V6is quicker/faster than a GS430. I guess the 3.5L's top end just keeps on climbing where as the V8 starts to lose it's breath

Those are really good times for a stock GS350. It shows you can still do a lot even though you don't have the top model.
