G-Spider 18"
Are those have lower profile than original 17" 225/50? Can't find a full spec for it. Will it be a good idea to get it on AWD model? Also, how will it affect a ride quality (if profile below 50)? I have to make a decision very soon so any help will be appreciated!!! I don't want to get it just for looks. Very important for me to maintain that performance/comfort ride ratio

Going from 50's to 40's profile, I think my bruised **** not gong to forgive me LOL!!! I'm coming off 55's on ES350, and that was a nice soft ride (with a crappy suspension of course ). Will wait for our East Coast winter to be over (snow, ice, potholes), than might get a set of bigger wheels for the summer ride. This way I can switch them between seasons

I have the 18" Tourmalines which share the same specs as the G-Spiders. There was practically no discernable difference in ride quality (that I could perceive) between the stock 17's and 18's. In terms of size, the G-Spiders are 18x8 while the stock wheels are 17x7.5. I put 245/40 Pirelli PZero Nero M+S tires on my Tourmalines and they're great.
