Is "shark" antenna used for satellite radio?

I have XM radio on a 06 GS, the dealer originally put the "puck" on the right side of the trunk. Looked terrible against silver. I aked them to move it and the put the "puck" on the lower right side of the rear window. With the tinted windows it doesn't look bad.
