Does anyone know who makes the WHEELS for the 18" Summer Tire option on the 2007 GS350RWD?
I would lile to replace them with Chrome wheels and want the exact wheel as the 18" Summer Tire option but in Chrome? I don't want to go through my Lexus dealership. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that most often Lexus chrome wheels dont come from factory, they are done at the dealer, they simply get them chromed thru a shop, perhaps like a large chrome exchange place that does their own chrome plating...costs them probably $400 and they mark up cost 1000-1500 $$

Dealerships never do their own chrome plating nor do most chrome exchange places. Try Globe Tire in LA. They do a lot of the wheel exchanges for dealerships, at least they used to. I believe their cost is somewhere around $125/wheel with exchange. I don't know what they charge their customers. Whoever you go to, make sure you check out some of their chroming because if it's not done properly, you will get a poorly done wheel that shows pitting or too much of the nickle base. I have had wheels from dealerships that did not come out right as well. The good thing about getting the wheels from a dealership is that they have to guarantee their the wheels with their normal warranty. If you get them at the time of purchase, they warranty the wheels for the duration of the factory warranty. I have had wheels peel in the past and they were replaced by my dealership. Chrome wheels have never cost me more than $1000 at a dealership.

If you want to do a wheel exchange try this website http://www.calchrome.com/ i didnt want to get into the high cost of replacing the runflat tires and going with a larger wheel, although that combo is the way to go. for now i wanted to keep my 17 stock wheel and runflat tires with the chrome option. this company seems to have mastered the chroming process as well as supplying wheels to dealerships. My friend exchanged his wheels 2 weeks ago and was completely satisfied. Im getting my wheels monday. give them a call and speak to blaine (very knowledgable). wheels are 150 for the lexus and must be like for like. you have to pay for shipping each way. here in NYC i had to pay 125 each way. wheels for me were 600+250=850. if your close to them you can arrange to pick them up. I highly recommend them.

To be honest, I saw an Obsidian GS350 with chromed 18" wheels recently and I just didn't like the look at all - it made me decide once and for all never to have it done to mine. It might look better with other colors. In this case, the wheels had been chromed by the dealer.
