Radion Reception Problem
Hey everyone,
I just brought my 07' gs350awd in for service @ 2k miles because of poor radion reception. I live in long island, NY. Has anyone had this problem and is there an easy fix for it. Lexus cant figure out what is wrong with it.

No i didnt tint my windows. Lexus told me that they replace a wire harness, which i think is not true, and now the radio reception is worse than before.

Lexus just got back to me after my car has been in the shop for a week (again) They say they cannot find anything wrong, yet when i drive the car i cant get anything.

Obvious answer....
Take the service advisor on a drive and let them hear the static your
hearing. Turn the FM or AM to a local station and let them explain
why you cant hear the station.
Then get into another GS that is on the lot and compare.
I could have told you the dealer would do the old "cant reproduce"
BS that they tell a lot of people. SHOW THEM.

Also I wonder if I am going to have the same problem because I live on Long Island as well?
Hey Ted 5469 did they wind up fixing the problem? What dealership did you go through?

Thanks for the Advice Balnk,
I spoke with Lexus Corp. I think my dearlership is alittle worried about that. My car is still in the shop. They are replacing the rear window now to see if that can help. They said that they relize that there is a problem now.

Nothing Helped. They told me that nothing can be done. They have Exhausted every Possibility. Now no-one from lexus corp. wants to talk to me, and the dealership is giving me the run-around

They Replaced Everything. I get poor reception everywhere. alll of long island, queens, Manhattan, brooklyn, i dont know about Jersey.
Here is a list of things the dealership and a lexus Tech did.
Replaced Rear Window
Replaced Radio (4 times)
Replaced Radio Harness (2-3 Times)
Replaced Amp. (2 times)
Replaced my headliner because the creased and tryed to get away without replacing it.

Ted5469, were did you purchase the vehicle. I also live on Long Island and am awaiting the arrival of an 07 GS 350 awd and hope i did not purchase from same dealer and have to deal with the same servive department. If you are uncomfortable with naming them just list the county. thanks
