I did it. The order is in...
I ordered a 2007 GS350 AWD. I got it in Starfire Pearl with Cashmere leather and fully loaded. Every available option. It came out to be $51,495.00
First question is what mod would you guys do first? I will definitly go with a nice window tint but not sure what to do next. Is there anything you guys would definitly recommend doing. Any suggestions..
I remember someone saying something about a clear coating for the front?

Thanks..The dealer said it would take anywhere between a week to 3 weeks to get it. I was tossed up betwen the RWD or the AWD and decided to go with the AWD because we do get some bad weather here in NY in the winter time.
I will definitly post pics when I get it. Any thoughts on any must do mods when I get it.

Congrats..i've had mine for three weeks now and some day I'll figure out how to use all the gizmo's. Dropped off my 2003 infiniti m45 yesterday, I will miss it but very very happy with the gs350 performance.

Congrats! I would start looking for a quality 3M dealer/installer in your area now as you should get it right in the middle of December in NY and will want to do it as soon as you get the car. I've had it on my last four cars and will never do without it again. White shows dark chips horribly on the front and it's just a mater of time without protection.
Most places, at least here, deal in multiple similar 3M product lines, but you really need to find an installers that is willing to show you examples and has experience with their lines. You can order something online and have someone else install it, but if your installer doesn't have experience with the brand don't let them near your car.
I used a place locally and have recommended him several times to others in the STL area. His site is http://www.ultrashieldofstl.com/
Good luck!

Also can you tell me about your dvd/nav mod? What does it do. I assume you can watch dvd's on the nav screen?

wow. that's a great price! I paid $51,000 out the door last month (considering Pa. 6% tax vs ny 8.?%). My car is missing the spider rims, sunshade, and dynamic cruise control radar. Damn! I wish somebody posted a price up like that before I bought my car. All I see is "I paid blah blah over invoice" which didn't mean too much to me. The price might constitute to me wanting to take a car out that day, but who knows.
Well, back to the subject. The only thing I got on there is tint (which is not a mod, it's a necessity). I want to slap some rims on when spring comes around. The only problem with that is the AWD sits really high, so it will need springs. No springs/coilovers are REALLY made for the AWD. I see people on the forums dropping AWD with tanabe springs (which are made for the RWD) and they swear it's fine, so I don't know. I did really want coilovers because I think (personally) they are the way to go, so I'm just waiting. The DVD/navi mod would be great, but right now everything is still brand new and I'm scare to mess with that stuff.

May I suggest a grill (at least the lower grill) replacement and a tint job. Also, lighted door sills are hot but look for a better deal, someone posted their mod and it was a bit pricy at $500.
