Default Why is the 350 RWD so heavy?

OK, before someone posts because of the engine stupid.....
The GS350 RWD is about 168lbs over the 300 RWD while the 350 AWD is only about 110 above the 300 AWD. So the engine accounts for alot of that but unless the AWD system got lighter, the 350 RWD added some more stuff because it increased roughly 150% the amount that the AWD's increased.
What went into the 350 RWD to make it so much more heavier than its predecessor?

The brakes I am sure added weight, going from 2 caliper pistons to the larger 4 caliper ones from the GS 4...
Very good observation though, the engine must be heavier. I wonder how this affected weight distribution?

Yeah, that would account for some of the weight. Beefier calipers and their corresponding supporting parts (booster, etc). However, to reach about 60 lbs I think there must be some other differences that we are overlooking. If the brakes are all there is different, then the car got more nose heavy. I dont see a weight distributon in the brochure. Anyone know what it is?

Maybe the wheels are heavier as well, than the previous GS 300 wheels. Sharkfin may add a pound

Yeah, I don't think they weigh it with options on it. So theres other differences that went into the RWD to make it so heavy.
