Default Is it worth upgrading the headlights..

Is it worth upgrading the headlights and fog lights on a 07' GS350. I read alot of people upgrading them. Are the stock ones not bright?

Right now I have a 03' BMW 330Ci with Zenon lights and they are bright as hell. Will I be dissapointed with the stock lights?

Dip beam is fine but the full beam lamps are a little dim if you are used to Bi-Xenon lamps. I have no idea why Lexus decided to only fit Xenons for the low beam lamps.

Ok Thanks..

So what seems to be the best combination of fog light and headlight? if I upgraded the lights on a 07' GS350? Is it expensive?

check pics of a previous post of mine.
I upgrade my fogs to HID.
They were about $400.00 and if you have lexus install them they might be about $105 more; which is 1 hour labor.
SO that's the total it might run you. I purchased mine from xenondepot
I like mine just perfectly. I opted for the 6000K fogs. I have yet to upgrade my low beams from the OEM. I plan on doing so in the near future. I have just been so dang busy selling properties lately.
Hope this helps!

I am a little confused. You just did the 6000K fogs? What about the regular driving lights would you them match them with 6000k too?

To upgrade the fogs, its about $400, and yes I got HID 6000K's for my fogs.
The OEM low beam lights = headlights = 4300K.
Running the OEM stock with the stock fogs, the low beams look a bluish color from ma distance.
Once I installed the HID fogs 6000K, my low beams look dull, yellowish....
I will install the low beams which is just a buld replacement, no kit required since it is already a HID kit installed. I will when I get a chance order some new bulbs probably 6000K's to match my fogs, which for both (lowbeam/headlight) bulbs it'll run me about $350.
xenondepot only makes 6000K that fit the kit they sell, the do not yet make the 6000K d4, i believe bulb for the headlight swap. ultravilot.com I think does the 6000K d4's
helpful?
ok.

Thanks for explaining that to me. So for about $750.00 I guess I can do the fogs and the low beams. That is alot of money...

Does this help the fact that on low beams the lights don't go out very far. This is very annoying and somewhat dangerous! I have talked to the dealer and they said they point so low because they don't want to blind other drivers (possible liability to lexus???) but it sure makes it hard to see when on the highway.

Um, you lost me, whats low and whats high? I thought the lights in the middle area was just daytime running lights? And the regualr headlight area housed a xenon(hid) bulb for both low and high? I'm lost.

you can adjust the headlight beam
i dont got the link but if you look on the "how to do" section
it shows you that all you need is a phillips screw driver and its an easy turn of a screw which allows you to adjust

i understand the point, check a previous post for adjusting the low beams.
I have mine up and I can see 100 yards ahead. They only self level lower to a point now, b/c I raised the lowest threshold. Oh well. I can see, that's what matters. Maybe not others aproaching me.....
happy tuning

So I CAN'T change those to HID then? You need the daytime runninglights, and HID cant run at different brightness?

What are you moving the beam angles from? The projectors? Granted they seem dim, but when I shine them on my garage door, they seem to be the right height?

Has anybody seen the lights move right to left? I havnt seen that yet on mine.
