Does anybody in this forum have external Sirius antenna installed on their 3GS either on a trunk lid or a back fender? If so, can you please post a picture? Also, if you have it on your trunk, how does the antenna wire gets from inside the car to your trunk? Nothing could be really done around mechanical latches. The only place where trunk lid and trunk connects with wires is through that retractable ribbon cable. To me, that is the only place where you can snake the antenna. But due to that cable being retractable, not sure what is the best way to eliminate antenna flexing during opening/closing on the trunk lid?

I had my XM installed on the lower right corner of the rear window.

Thanks, Randy! I remember seeing your pix before. You have XM radio and it has by far superior signal strength due to a number of XM repeaters. With Sirius, a proper install of antenna has to be done on a metal surface to improve the reception. Mounting on the glass is out of the question in my case. I would prefer to have it on the trunk lid in the middle across from break light, but have to figure out how to trace the antenna wire under the trunk lid into the car
