Not sure if this helps at all, but I have a 2006 GS300 AWD (no nav or ML), that I got back in April of this year. $5,000 total out of pocket and $590/mo for 36 mo with 12k miles/yr. That includes all taxes etc.

so but your lease payments are supposed to amount to how much the car depreciates (plus interest) while in your ownership. No matter how you slice it, either lexus has some horrible lease rates or the car doesnt hold its value. How can an RX have advertised leases of around $399 for a $40K+ car while the GS is $750?! something isnt right.
and another thing? Why would anybody lease unless they can write off the payment? Leasing is such a waste of money unless your self employed and can write it off..
see this thread as well.. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...1&postcount=10

15k/annual, 1950.00 down, 36 months, Payment+taxes= $750. My car cost less than Rexus300 but I'm paying more per month. I'm supposed to be getting their December to Remember rates and I'm definitely going to remember this next time. For the sake of comparison, my FICO is >800 so I should have received Lexus Financial's best rate(?). Something just doesn't seem right...
By the way, I am self employed and like new cars every 3 years, so leasing works well for me (plus I get to write off the payments) but after reading some of these posts (and comparing to BMW rates) I think I might be kicking myself for the next 3 years...

I think it was because the dealer wanted to get rid of the remaining GS300 AWD before the new GS350 AWD came to their lot, hence the great deal. But I understand what you mean, with the december to remember deal, it could been better. But all I can say is enjoy what you have

Those numbers don't work out with the residuals on these cars. They must have DEEPLY discounted your car, especially w/15k miles and 0 down.

I remember going to the dealer right before the GS350 came out and they heavily discounted the GS300 awd. They had me out 2500 down and 4000 total out of pocket for 36months and payment was $540 a month. The 350s are so much more expensive with the deals they give you.

I am aware that this 350AWD has no Navi and that it's only a 12,000/yr lease and the money factor might be specific to this deal but $599 per month is the price...how could you add on a few thousand to the price for Nav or ML and have the monthly payment increase by $150 to $750 per month? It seems questionable. I would assume that the average payment would be in the 6's...probably high 6's...but 7's to high 7's seems a bit too high for a lease. I would expect those payments on a 60K car.

I don't know what the money factor is for the GS350. On my Gs300, upgrading to ML & Navi cost me an extra $30/ mo. The salesman just applied the same money factor to the higher price.

FYI...I'm on the fence whether to buy or lease and it will probably be a last minute decision for me when I ink my purchase (or lease). Acountant says lease while I'm more comfortable buying. I suppose whenever a CPA favors lease over a purchase, I'm hard pressed not to listen.
Here in L.A. through 1/2/07, a GS350 lease at 36 months/12,000 miles per year is at a 53% residual and 0.00205 (4.92%) MF. My numbers at a MSRP of $48,997 and a 'buy' price of approx $44,500 comes to $680.00 (excluding tax with no cap cost reduction).
