Default GS350 lease payments

I was just curious to see what people are paying a month for their GS350s. I got several quotes from dealers and they are saying in the mid 7s a month on a GS with navi. I think that is a little expensive compared to Mercedes and Bimmers. The GS is a much better though. So I was just wondering what you guys are paying in payments a month for your GS350's and how your leases were structured. thanks in advance

Why is everyone scared to answer his question. I know alot of you guys out there leased your Lexus.

I am still waiting for mine to come in.

I just put my order in on a 2007 GS350 AWD fully loaded. The price was like $51,495.00.

I did a lease with $3,100.00 down and $769.00 a month for 36 months with 12K per year. Thats with Tier 1 credit. 730+ Credit score. Hope this helps..

Some people on here were saying that it was on the high side but nobody else said what there monthly payment is..

It might be high because I live in NY. I dont know but I think it is a fair price per month for the vehicle.

$769 x 36 = $27684

$3,100 + $27684 = $30,784.

Are you saying the car is only going to be worth about $20,000 ($51,000 - $30,784) in only 3 years?! That just doesnt seem right!! and if it is, Im seriously thinking about buying something else!

I was comparing between buying and leasing when I picked up my 06 GS300AWD. Fully loaded, at that time (mid may 2006), it was about 670/months with 3000 down. I ended up buying the car instead of leasing it. But, it is a 06 300, not a 350.

Hopefully, someone else who has 350 can chime in.

GS lease rates suck compared to 5 Series.

Low Residual + High MF = Bad Lease

If you really want the GS, IMO it makes more sense to just finance it.

no, a good portion of the monthly lease payment is going to interest, the 769/mo is not all depreciation. leasing 101

yeah like 6 to 8 % depending upon the rate... either way its still a ton of depreciation no matter how you want to look at it... especially since you can lease other $50K cars for around $499 to $599 a month...

I thought lexus autos retain value?

Thanks for all the replys guys, and thanks Harold for getting the discussion started. I appreciate it. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to finance it. Over 700 a month is way over my budget so when the time comes i might end up financing one two years old or leasing a new ES350. We'll see. My heart goes with the GS and my head tells me fully warranted ES every 3 years on a lease. I've got a year to make my decision, thats when my lease is up.

Your heart is in a right place I remember way back when you first came to ES forum and was talking about your financial situation. You are too young for ES350 I'm sure you can make a good deal next year on used '07 GS350 or with even a tighter budget go for '06 GS300.

I guess he could have financed it for 5 years at 6.9% with a payment of $1017.

The thing is that every 3 years I like a new vehicle so leasing works out for me.

Also another reason is if I get into a bad accident with the vehicle I just turn it back in at the end of the lease. This actually happened to me. About a year and a half ago I was in a bad accident with my BMW. It was in the shop for 4 months and it had about $21,000 worth of damage. Ever since that accident the car was never the same. I am actually still driving the car right now awaiting my new Lexus. I had my lease extended an additional month to wait for my new ride..

don't own a 350, but wanted to shed some light.
At the time they pulled my credit, I had a 814. Obviously that's good, but just to see what lease options would be, because honestly I only keep my cars for about 5 years tops.
But when we checked at that time, about 3 months ago, to lease was about 20 dollars more /month than the payment for 7 years I think to buy.
I did the 7 year option for me my payment was high, but the car is expensive. I did this just as a temporary issue, as I just paid the car off early this week. no more interest, that I can't even write off.
Obviously I would have kept paying month to month, if I could ave made more than the 6.% interest they were chargin me at the bank, but the market is poor at the moment, so I wasn't even breaking even on interest swaps, so I paid off.

When Leasing a car your not paying it off, the residual value of the car after the lease is up will be at least 30k plus, my loaded UL ES350 has a redisual value of 28000 after the 3 year lease, the loaded GS350 will be more
