Default Hit up by M5s..

Most interesting last night.. I took my folks to Little Tokyo in Los Angeles for dinner and I got hit up by 2 E60 M5s.. One Silver and One Black. To see them weaving around me and revving, they were definitely looking for some fun. haha Were it not for my folks in the car.. It would have been fun to run with them for a few seconds haha, espcially considering we were driving in the 2nd Street tunnel =). Nothing beats the loud echoes from those V10 engines coming through the tunnel. Despite the fact that I probably would've got blown away... it was definitely an experience.

No.. I thought I saw some USC license plate frames.. but I can't say for sure. Being a bruin.. that didnt make me feel all that much better!

I gotta give credit.. those engines sounded pretty nice in the tunnel.

those cars sounds A W E S O M E when not in a tunnel. The high revs in those F1 engines is unreal!
I had one on order but decided for the 550i instead for the time being. Not the $$ but hate wasting time at the gas station. 9/14 mpg is rediculous. Unless I could add a trunk full of gas.

I seriously need to look for some more power for my car. Anyone got any insight for this engine? Thanks!

Good thing your folks were in the car, you would have been disappointed in how slow(relative) your car would be to those beasts. But if they were in higher gear at low speed, you would have kept up as you said for a few seconds, their power band is at the upper rpm levels. At least it was for my
E39 M5, but alas I chose to have reliablility over hp.

p.s. you could remind them about the game.

Nidan, also a Bruin

You would have won if it was a cross country race...their electrical systems would have shorted out several miles into it....then all you have to do is cruise on by them as they wait for BMW towing! hahaa
