Dude, all that you need to do it to find a leather upholstery shop in your city and take it to them, pick out some nice black leather and have them stitch it nicely over the existing wheel, the leather parts and wood part. That way you got a nice non cheezy looking all leather wheel AND added thickness from the extra layer you added.

P.S. Dont forget to make them cut and extend the leather to cover the 3 o clock, 9 o clock and 6 o clock, portions where the wheel connects to the center. That way you wont have a portion which is uncovered by leather and it will blend right in with the stitching similar to the OEM. Also, you can remove the button panels etc to get the leather behind it.
TIP: You could have them use some cool string colors to give it a unique or sporty effect. How about a black wheel with red stitching!!
Or match your exterior with some light grey/silver stitching!

There you go. Now that looks like somthing Lexus would do instead of the Walmart look.

Great idea. Any idea on cost?

Maybe someone can give Sewell Lexus or Carson a call and ask can we retrofit the Euro steering wheels on our cars.....

I don't like the tickness either, so even if I could get the Euro retrofit, it's just plain leather not the thickness. I am actually considering, first finding a upholstery shop and taking it to them. Never actually crossed my mind to go that route. Maybe then I can get the color stitching, (I agree is very nice) with the dark grey leather, and hopefully alot thicker, like the cheap one I have on there now.
I will keep posted. I will let you know what I find and $$.
Thanks.
But in the meantime I will keep my Walmart Look.
What do I care what others think when they see it, I have a 70K car, I can do with it what I want. What works best for me. And anyways, my windows are tinted and I drive by myself 90% of the time anyways. So I don't think I will say, hey Jason, ****ty wheel cover, b/c I bought it in the first place. If I start talking down to myself about a purchase I made to myself, I'll check my into a padded room. crazy.
Thanks ALL!!!
