Default Vaistech Sirius Module

Has anyone here installed this? If so...

1. How does it work
2. Where did you put the external antenae?

I have the IPOD adapter which works great but would rather have Sirius since I was told the GS will only allow 1 external input for text to show up on the screen.

THanks.

I just ordered one and it seems that it should work just like the ipod version except the ipod version has automatic "I agree" removal whereas the Sirius version does not. Most of the guys seem to be putting their antennas on the rear window shelf.

I will have to check back with you after new years then.

I have the IPOD and the I Agree does not go away.

THanks for the feedback.

They have just recently started making the "I agree" feature a standard option. You can send yours in to get it updated.

I'm right their with you on this whole Sirius SLS and SLI thing. I'm installing both very soon and I will let you know how it goes. I have an 06 GS300 with Nav and Mark Levinson, so that might make things different for me compared with your car.

Either way, i'll report back. I'll be having someone do it, so the best I can give you as far as feedback is my user experience and what I watch him do.
Hope i can help a bit.

You are installing both? You can have one or the other not both. I'm just walking out the door to do my SLS install. From what I can tell, a very high quality piece and the wiring is very impressive. Looks just like a factory harness!

Vias is 2nd day airing a replacement that I will get tomorrow and then Saturday I will be taking the dash apart again ;-) I can now get things apart in about ten minutes and reinstalled in about 15. ;-)

You can definitely install both units. One uses AM -Sat and the other uses CD

My SLS uses AM/Sat. When you use CD, are you bypassing the changer?
