Dunlop Sport Maxx are OEM for many IS's with 18" rims. So far no complaints from me, they are not as light nor as expensive as Michelin Pilot PS2, and are lighter and same money as Potenzas RE050. Not too noisy, and not too harsh, a nice all around performing summer tire. Only downside is the tread will prolly only last 24k - YMMV . . .
Anyway, my wife hates the wheels. Well, hate is too strong a word. She thinks the car looks classy and sporty but black wheels are too masculine. She says it looks like a car I would drive. Since it's her daily driver, that's a problem. Don't know what to do now. I guess I could try to sell them. I should have never tried to persuade her, should have stuck with chrome. It's just that she wanted either Zenetti Flow or the exact same wheels I have on my G35...Sevas S Star in chrome.
I'm scared of the peeling finish problems Zenetti is known for and I didn't want the same identical wheel on 2 cars. So I should have gotten what she wanted, the Zenetti. She really likes them. Can't blame her, she knows what she likes and wants what she likes...just like me.

Thanks. Rode around on them yesterday. Seem okay but definitely not up to PS2 standard. I should have spent the exra 200 for the best.

Dayum reggie - ya gotta listen to 'she who must be obeyed'! Especially if it's her car. I'd NEVER try to convince my wife over her objections of what she should put on her car or pretty much anything, lol.

Update....My daughters (18 and 15), my sister n law and 4 neighbors have all said how great the car looks and wifey is starting to feel better about the black wheels. The car is getting much more attention than it did with the chrome 17's that were on it. I think we'll be keeping the wheels for a while.
