wow...did not know that about the ES350s..I'm glad I stayed away from that model..my friends did tell me to stay away from entry level cars regardless of make...whether or not that has to do with the flaring issue is another question for the ES forum...

so i guess the grass is greener on the other side....here on the GS forums!!!

BTW, I also got mine GS350 AWD @ Ray Catena (I live 10 minutes away). Mine comes with Premium package (cooled/heated perforated seats, spoiler, winter mats, etc.) and no Nav and no ML, for $41,500. I was coming off a lemon ES350 (Lexus Corporate buyback), and dealer just did me a favor with below the invoice price.

The sales tax is usually collected when you register the car in the state. However, some out of state dealerships will collect the sales tax and register the car in the state you are from.

My salesman knows that I'm not bluffing. I purchased my wifes ES300 from him 4 years ago. I told him that I wanted a great price. I had already ordered the GS350 from him. He credited my credit card already for the $500 that was charged to it.

We have 2 Lexus dealerships in town, both owned by the same person. There is no competetion and they will sell the car to someone else for more money. I am retired, have a lot of time on my hands and am willing to travel out of state. - My salesman knows this too.
